This is the Newport Oregon condo blog. There are so many attractions in Newport and the surrounding area!<br /><br /> In September 2008, we bought a vacation condo in Newport, Oregon. This blog is a journal of our discoveries and a venue to share experiences that may be of interest to you.<br /><br />By the way, the condo is for rent. Check out our<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68);font-family:Arial;" ><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;"> <a href="http://www.newportoregoncondo.net/">Newport Oregon condo</a></span></span>.<br /><br />This condo has a Yaquina Bay view, overlooking the marina filled with sail boats, dinghies, skiffs, and small yachts. Next to the marina are charter fishing boats and beyond that is the active fishing fleet. Marine Discovery Tours moors their ship right off the boardwalk. Beyond is old Newport with its many shops and restaurants, historic taverns, fish processing plant, and seafood vendors, among other classic seaport stores. Across the bay is the Hatfield Marine Science Center, Oregon Coast Aquarium, NOAA ship, and the beautiful Yaquina Bay Bridge. Sunsets are absolutely beautiful.
